How to install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
This version of Ubuntu is the latest version at the time this article was published. And because of this LTS or Long Term Support version, Ubuntu is supported by Canonical as the main funder of this Linux for 5 years.
Of course in the future if the latest version appears, you can upgrade for free and be supported again.
Immediately, here's how to install Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
1. Download Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and put it on Flash Drive
To download it, please visit the main Ubuntu site. Then in the "Ubuntu Desktop" section, click the green "20.04 LTS" button as shown above. The download size of Ubuntu itself is around 2.5 GB. So, it is highly recommended that you download it if you are connected to Wifi.
When you download Ubuntu, you will also need a tool to put Ubuntu on the flash drive. Here, we will install Ubuntu on a Flash Drive with an application called Universal USB Installer. Plug in your flash disk now. After the download is complete, immediately open the application.

On the first screen, you are asked to agree to the EULA. Just click "I Agree". Then on "Step 1" please select Ubuntu. Then on “Step 2”, select the Ubuntu file you downloaded. In "Step 3", select your Flash Disk. So that there is no interference, you can format your Flash Disk by checking the "Fat32 Format Drive". But if there is enough free space, you don't need to format.
Wait a few moments until Ubuntu is moved to your Flash Drive.

2. Set PC bios to boot using Flash Drive
To enter the bios, each PC or laptop has a different way. For the complete way, first read my article below:

3. Start installing Ubuntu
-In the "Keyboard Layout" section, leave the settings alone and click "Continue"
-Then in the "Updates and other software" section. make sure the option is "Normal installation". You can choose “Minimal installation” if you only want to install the browser and some important applications.
You can also check "Install third-party software for graphics and Wi-Fi hardware and additional media formats" to have Ubuntu install additional applications for your graphics and Wi-Fi devices. If so, click "Continue".
- In the “Installation type” section, there are 2 options that you can choose from. The first option is "Erase disk and install Ubuntu", Ubuntu will erase all data on your hard drive.
Select this option if your computer is new or you want to start over again. But if you still have other data, click the "Something else" option. There, you can choose where to install Ubuntu. Here, I selected the first option and clicked "Install Now".
-Then there will be a notification as above. Here, Ubuntu confirms. If you are sure, click "Continue"
-Under "Where are you," select the city you live in. Otherwise, select the nearest city. From that, click "Continue"
- Then in the "Who are you" section, fill in the name, username, and password for your computer. This password will be used when the computer is turned on. If so, click "Continue".
Wait a few moments until the installation process is complete. Once done, you will be asked to restart the computer. Please click "Restart now..." to restart your computer.
4. Done installing Ubuntu 20.04
After restarting, enter the password you created earlier so you can start using Ubuntu.
